Before setting up your email account, ensure that you are disconnected from your computer (remove the USB cable from the device), and ensure you can successfully browse the internet on the device.
Select Settings > Passwords & Accounts > Add Account
Select Microsoft Exchange Mobile Email
Enter your account details as follows:
Email address: firstname.lastname@example.org
Password: Your normal email password is available by calling Camb IT Support on 01223 576705.
If the device asks you to sign in to office365. Enter your email address and password.
If the device asks you to enter the server details. Enter this as follows:
Domain: Do not put anything in this field. It should be blank or Optional in light grey text should be listed.
Your Username and Password will be tested against the server and saved if correct. Any errors at this stage are usually caused by an incorrect username or password. Enter these again if you receive any authentication errors being careful to ensure there are no typos.
You will now be able to select which aspects of your account you would like to sync such as calendar and contacts – select ‘on’ for the appropriate options and tap Save.
